“This program is deeply needed.”
"The opportunities for conversations and relationships afforded by this context are exactly what is needed to work the gospel deep into a pastors's heart, his preaching and his people."
— David Rapp, Church Planter, Temple, TX
“This program is key for discipleship.”
"The Center has played a major role in partnership with New Life Baptist Church in the evangelism, discipleship and baptism of members of the community of Kireka slum; Muslims have been transformed by the Gospel and people are being released from their chains as they have heard the Gospel."
— Pastor Arthur Kiwala, New Life Baptist, Uganda
"The Center for Gospel Communication affords us the opportunity to rejoice together in working side by side. I highly commend the work of this Center for the edification and for the building up of the Church!"
— Bill Thomas, Director of the Southwest Church Planting Network
“If you want to learn to see Christ in all the Bible...the apprenticeship will exceed whatever expectations you have.”
The apprenticeship at the CGC was astounding for me to learn how to skillfully interpret all of Scripture to rightly see what the Bible is all about: Jesus and His salvation. Not only that, I learned the art of experiencing Jesus and His salvation during the process of preparing a lesson plan or sermon. If you want to learn to see Christ in all the Bible and in turn teach and preach Christ from every text of the Bible, the apprenticeship will exceed whatever expectations you have.
- Collin Coats, Youth Director, Redeemer Waco
“God met us in His Word.”
The Center for Gospel Communication is a place where the laity and preachers come together to understand how God meets us in his Word. Through the instruction, conversation, and friendship, fostered by the variety of backgrounds in my group, I have a better understanding of how my work in the world might support the work of the church, and how to develop a more comprehensive and humble approach to reading his Word. I recommend this program to any lay-person or leader who wishes to the same for their church.
- Rachel Kilgore, Graduate Teaching Assistant, Baylor University
“I couldn't recommend the CGC more.”
The Center for Gospel Communication shaped my preaching and helped me become the pastor I am today. I couldn't recommend it more.
“We learned the difference between Good News and good advice.”
When I entered the program I mostly thought that reading the Bible was about finding out how the passage was relevant to me. What I found, after a year in the Apprenticeship Program, is that the Bible is all about Good News, not a bunch a moral principles.
